Since 1998 SJA has incorporated STI-HIV\/AIDS prevention program in the Sylhet city and lead its region as a pioneer of this field. Particularly SJA is one of the first organizations in the country that has initiated Sex Workers intervention with a huge challenges of reducing high stigma. Gradually, SJA expanded its STIHIV\/AIDS prevention program at all over Bangladesh. Under this project SJA has been and had been<br \/>\nimplemented a good number of projects these are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 HIV-AIDS Prevention Hotel Based Intervention supported by HASAB;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 HIV and STI Prevention Project under USAID\u2019s IMPACT fund-FHI;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 HIV\/AIDS &amp; STI Prevention Project under USAID\u2019s BAP &amp; MODHUMITA-FHI360;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 Empowering Communities in the face of HIV AIDS, through STAR under EU-ActionAid funds;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 Provision of Essential Services to Street-Based and Hotel\/Residence based female sex workers Package -908, funded by\u00a0 \u00a0SCiBD-GFATM;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 Provision of Essential Services to Street-Based and Hotel\/Residence based female sex workers Package -909, funded by\u00a0 SCiBD-GFATM;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 RCC Phase 1 (P- 908): Expanding Provision of Essential Service to Street, Hotel and Residence Based SW, funded by\u00a0 SCiBD-GFATM;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 RCC Phase 1 (P- 909): Expanding Provision of Essential Service to Street, Hotel and Residence Based SW, funded by SCiBD-GFATM;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 RCC Phase 2 (P- 908): HIV Prevention for High-Risk Population &amp; Vulnerable young people in Bangladesh, funded by SCiBD-GFATM;<br \/>\n\u2013 RCC Phase 2 (P- 909): HIV Prevention for High-Risk Population &amp; Vulnerable young people in Bangladesh, funded by SCiBD-GFATM;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 HIV-AIDS Intervention Services (HAIS) Package-12 at the 27 districts under 7 division of Bangladesh under World Bank fund- MOHFW (SJA implemented this project as Lead Organization);<br \/>\n\u2013 Link Up Package 7.2 project for Pavement Dwellers at Chittagong and Sylhet division with the support of International HIV\/AIDS\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Alliance;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 Link Up Package 2.8 project for female sex workers in Sylhet division with the support of International HIV\/AIDS\u00a0 Alliance;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 Improving Health and Social Wellbeing of Adolescent Female Sex Workers through Enhance Excess to Essential Services-MARA\u00a0 at Chittagong and Sylhet division with the support of SCiBDUNICEF;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 FR: Comprehensive Prevention Programs for Sex Workers and their Clients supported by SCiBDGFATM;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 NFM: HIV Prevention Program for Female Sex Workers &amp; their Clients supported by SCiBDGFATM;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>STI-HIV\/AIDS Prevention &nbsp; SJA has 22 years of experience in the long run of STI-HIV\/AIDS prevention program without any interruption.
