A H M Faisal is a prominent development activist who has dedicated the last 34 years to serving humanity. Since 1995, A H M Faisal Ahmed has been an active Rotarian. 

As a development activist, he served with the United Nations UNV Program under UNDP Nepal and the Korea Youth Volunteers (KYV) under the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

In late 1991, upon completing his assignment with the UNV program (under UNDP Nepal), he returned home and mobilized local philanthropists to establish SJA on August 12, 1991. 

He currently serves as the Executive Director of Sylhet Jubo Academy. Additionally, he is the ‘District Governor 2024-25’ of Rotary International District 3282, Bangladesh, assuming his responsibilities on July 1, 2024.
